Rev. Gerrod Tyler, Pastor
Rev. Gerrod Tyler was born on June 13, 1979 in Washington, DC. He is the oldest son of Linrod James Tyler and Gloria Jean Tyler of Fort Washington , MD. Tyler
Rev. Tyler is a son of Antioch Baptist Church of Clinton located in Clinton, MD where Rev. Curtis B. Latimore is Pastor. Since a child, he has served various ministries at Antioch and began teaching Bible study at the age of 15. In June of 1997, shortly after graduating from high school, Rev. Tyler received his call to the ministry at the age of 17. He served as an Associate Minister and Youth Minister during his tenure at Antioch, and was ordained in March of 2003
In July of 2005, Rev. Tyler married his best friend and confidant the former Sharon Antrenette Mack of Magnolia, Mississippi Tyler Tyler September 16, 2007 .
Rev. Tyler is appreciative to all those who has supported him throughout his walk in life as well as the ministry. He is thankful for his past, and is excited about all the things God is going to do in the near future. His favorite scripture is Romans 12:1-2.
"I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service. And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God."
