If wisdom comes from knowledge, why do smart people do dumb things

At church dancing and praising from the hymns we always sing

Talking about all the joyous blessings that Jesus brings

When you decide to continue sinning because you're scared of your friends

Actually enjoying the world while living in sin

This isn't Daniel speaking, this is God's teaching

My words are inconsiderate like John the Baptist preaching

Surrounded by sinners because those are the ones whom I'm reaching

I laugh at fools with their prideful self that claim they know the Bible

Your faith will be tested when tongue kissing the barrel of a rifle

Be obedient to the word and keep thyself humble

Press toward the mark, no matter how many times you stumble

I had a conversation about being fatigued while talking to a reverend

He replied if we work while on earth, we will rest when in Heaven

Even if you don't understand the Bible, learn to accept it

Be obedient to His words, and don't ever reject it

Because if you live your way, once you find Jesus you might just regret it

He allowed predicaments in your life to show you who He is

And once you've been delivered you can't stop shouting Jesus lives

Our praises ascend to Heaven, but our hearts remain on earth

After all that said and done, if our hearts not in it what's it worth

It's amazing how we search the pharmacy looking for the correct pill

But not many our searching the Bible looking for God's pill

I love my Christian brothers who taught me no games are played when it comes to Christ

Pick up your cross, follow Him, get your sword, and prepare to fight!

As the world continues to rotate, I get deep in the word and meditate

Everyday to understand Him I'm yearning, as I continue to read I'm learning

That we are living in the days of Noah, I'll give you some examples and show ya

Homosexuality isn't a sin; it's just the way of life

And it's not called murder if you catch a man cheating with your wife

Children are telling their parents how they should be raised

You ought to teach you child the word and show them how to praise

Often parents are concerned about their child going to college

But what about wisdom because with that they'll use spiritual knowledge

Who comes first God or your beloved family?

It's not a hard decision; you just tend to make it to be

Right or left, life or death, I look at the pass and think what a mess

"Blessed be the name of the Lord!" "Glory be to God" "Hallelujah"

Is all that I can say, while living in this pain,

 Threw all the blood, sweat, and tears; God held me and kept me sane.
